Brothers’ Benefit for Isaac Barchus
Isaac is a 7-year old like any other. He loves Husker football, and he goes to school at Westside’s Sunset Hills. But Isaac was born with CANDLE Syndrome. The name is an acronym that describes, in medical terms, the symptoms that accompany the disease.
In lay terms, they include frequent fevers, rashes and arthritis-like joint pain. In simplest terms, the disease disrupts the autoinflammatory system — the inborn, rapid-response portion of the body’s immune system. This benefit supports Isaac Barchus’ treat-ment and care.
Currently Isaac travels to the National Institute of Health in Washington, DC with parents Kathe and Steve for continued treatment. This fundraiser helps support their continued medical and living expenses for Isaac.
If you were unable to attend the benefit, you may still contribute by making a check out to the Barchus Family and mailing it to the Scottish Rite office at 202 S. 20th Street, Omaha, NE 68102.

Deputy Grand Master Hauder, Grand Jr Warden Maxell, Grand Jr Deacon Myers, Grand Marshall Sites, and Personal Representative Bennett attended.
Several musical acts and a magician entertained the crowd, who participated in a silent auction.

After a church service this morning the SC Grand Master Jay Pearson laid a wreath at the grave of a PGM of SC from the 1700’s. Jerry and I are standing by the grave and wreath.
Video for Bob Moninger’s Grandson, Tyson
Hello everyone,
Please click on this link to see a video from Jason Aldean to Bob’s grandson, Tyson. Over the last week, there has been a major Twitter campaign by a Lincoln country radio station (Froggy 98.1) to get Jason to send Tyson (his biggest fan) a video to lift his spirits. He finally came through today. It’s awesome!
