Dedication of new van for VA Hospital in Omaha

03 Oct

On October 3, 2013, the keys to a new van for transporting patients were handed over in a ceremony at the VA Hospital in Omaha.  This van was made possible by the generous donations of Masons across the state to the Change for the Troops program.  The new van seats up to 8 patients and will be replacing a van that has over 320,000 mile on it! This new van will allow the VA to transport our wounded warriors in comfort and safety to the hospital that can serve them the best.

We are well on our way to purchasing another van for the VA (possibly for the Sidney, NE area) with a little over half the funds raised so far.  If you would like to contribute to this worthy cause, please contact the Grand Lodge office.

They protected our country and our freedoms; now let’s give them the best in return!
