Most Worshipful Grand Master Dennis Rix conferred a Master Mason degree in Ainsworth NE for two candidates on June 25. Congratulations to Jeremiah Sullivan of Silver Cord Lodge No. 224 and Tyler Johnson of Wood Lake Lodge No. 221, newly raised Master Masons. In attendance were Past Grand Master Joe McBride and several Grand Lodge officers.

Cornerstone Ceremony in Sidney
Most Worshipful Grand Master Dennis Rix and other Grand Lodge officers performed a Cornerstone Ceremony at the Wheat Belt Public Power HQ building in Sidney NE on June 24.
Olive Branch Master Mason Degrees
A degree was held at Olive Branch Lodge No. 274 in Walthill on June 29, 2016 at which new Brother Arneil Encarnacion was raised to the sublime degree of a Master Mason. Those present included (from left to right): Kyle Peterson, Wayne Benson, Randy Dunn, Arneil Encarnacion, Kent Neumann, Ron Grass, Doug Morgan (also a new Mason), Mike Tomasiewicz, Jon Cerny, Ed Matz, Ron Bruns, Leon Bruns, Clark Kleinberg, Vern Dahlman, Dave Beermann, and John Kruse. Taking the photo was Jeff Neumann.
Brother Arneil was raised on June 29th and Brother Doug Morgan was raised two days earlier, on June 27th. Congratulations to these new Master Masons!!
Brothers Complete EA Proficiency

Lodge Brothers Compete in CNF Rodeo
Brothers Bryce Dibbern and Whitley McBride, members of Silver Cord Lodge No. 224 in Ainsworth, are competing in the College National Finals Rodeo in Casper, WY.
Bryce is the National President of the NIRA and competed in the Steer Wrestling.
Whitley competes in the Team Roping as a Healer. Whitley is the son of Past Grand Master Joe McBride.
Both Brothers rodeo for the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Rodeo Team.
Rainbow Grand Assembly
Most Worshipful Dennis Rix attended the Grand Assembly of Nebraska Rainbow for Girls on June 11, 2016 at Doane University, where he was awarded the Grand Cross of Color and addressed the audience at the Public Opening. Grand Master participates in Shrine Bowl “Fez”tivities
Most Worshipful Dennis Rix rides in the Shrine Bowl Parade in Kearney on Saturday, June 4th.
The Grand Master was introduced at halftime of the Shrine Bowl football game with other Shrine dignitaries before the performance of the Masonic All-Star Marching Band. M.W. Dennis also served as a member of the instrument truck team all week for the band.
It was a great day for Masonic unity in Nebraska.
