MWB Bob Moninger, a National Sojourner, attended the June 4-8, 2019 National Sojourners Annual National Convention that was hosted by Omaha Chapter #19 and Lincoln Chapter #52 in Omaha at Regency Marriott Hotel. In addition to attending business sessions, Heroes Bennington Banquet, 100th Anniversary Celebration, and National Presidents Banquet he was initiated into the Omaha Joseph Warren Camp of Heroes. National Sojourners is Masonic Military Order for honorably discharged current and former military and select honorary Masons whose purpose is to promote the cause of Patriotism and Americanism.
On bright sunny June 8, 2019 brethren of George W. Lininger Lodge No. 268 met at the grave of Most Worshipful Brother George Washington Lininger to perform a Masonic Memorial Service Ceremony in his memory – 112 years after his death. MWB Lininger was the 12th Grand Master of Nebraska in 1877 and a driving force in the Nebraska Masonic Home located in Plattsmouth, Nebraska as well as world traveler and civic leader in Omaha.
