Three Nebraska Grand Lodge Officers – R.W. Jim Carlton, R.W. Ron Stites, and W. John Ferguson – attended the July 18-20 Rocky Mountain Masonic Conference in Denver, Colorado. Topics of presentation by the nine member jurisdictions ranged from “Education and Entertainment Outside the Masonic Lodge”, to “Social Media Etiquette for Masons”, to “Buildings or Electronic – What Will Lodges Look Like In 20, 30, 100 Years”. It was a sweltering summer evening with the heat index at 114 degrees on Thursday, July 18th, but 14 Brethren of Olive Branch Lodge No. 274 and two guests attended an outdoor Lodge meeting at the farm of Doug and Christine Morgan near Walthill. Prior to Lodge opening, everyone was all treated to New York Strips grilled over a wood fire and numerous other side dishes. (The dog kennel was empty). A request for Dispensation to move the Lodge Charter to the Farm was approved by MW Bob Moninger.

MW Bob Moninger and other Grand Lodge Officers, along with PGM John Maxell , PGM Rick Myers, and delegations from Tangier and Tehama Shriners attended the 100th Anniversary celebration of the Prince Hall Grand Lodge on July 19 in Omaha.
