On a cold, snowy, road-slickened December 15, 2019, members of G. W. Lininger Lodge No. 268, friends, and family held its 4th Annual Mini Golf Outing at Medieval Putt in Elkhorn. Thank goodness this was an indoor event and despite the best efforts of a few no one was injured and no damage was done to the course. Something new for the Outing this year was the collection of food for a local food bank. Plans are already underway for the 2020 event, but will have to wait for a cold and snowy weather forecast.

Members and friends of Hickman Lodge No. 256 in Lincoln recently spent some time making Christmas items that were donated to residents of The Nebraska Masonic Home in Plattsmouth and the Masonic-Eastern Star Home for Children in Fremont.
On Tuesday, December 3rd, I had the honor of listening to Brother Zane Zentic of Fremont Lodge No. 15 demonstrate his proficiency in the Entered Apprentice degree, and presented him with a Grand Master’s Full Form Excellence in Proficiency Coin. He was near flawless! Both Zane and M.W. Dennis Rix spent a lot of time together working on Zane’s proficiency, and their efforts showed. Congratulations to Zane and Fremont Lodge on such an outstanding job!
