On May 29, the North Shrine Bowl Team, Coaches, the Grand Master and his lady Ann visited the Shriners Hospital in St. Louis. We were treated to a great tour of the facility and got to meet several patients and learn more about their treatment.

Lied Tekamah Public Library Cornerstone
On 25 May, the officers of the Grand Lodge performed the cornerstone ceremony at the Lied Tekamah Public Library in Tekamah. It was a great day for the community and the new library preserves the original Carnegie Library while adding a new wing.
Lincoln Pool Cornerstone, Grand Island
On May 23 the officers of the Grand Lodge performed the cornerstone ceremony for the new Lincoln Pool in Grand Island. Ashlar Lodge #33 was the sponsoring Lodge.
Midwest Lodge No. 317 Outdoor Degree
On May 18th, the Grand Lodge participated in an outdoor Master Mason degree for Bro. Scott Snell. The location was a pasture about 20 miles south of Hastings. The weather was great and except for a few ticks the bugs left us alone! Congratulations to Brother Scott who is the 4th generation of his family to become a Mason!

Deputy Grand Custodian School at Rob Morris No. 46
On May 11, I attended the DGC School held in Kearney. The school was put on by WB Bruce Watkins and attending were DCG’s from around the state. We went through each degree with a fine toothed comb and corrected any minor errors that had crept into the work. It was good to see such devotion to keeping the ritual pure and alive.
