Lebanon Lodge # 3, Prince Hall Masons holds their semi-annual Fish Fry Saturday April 25, 2015

Lebanon Lodge # 3, Prince Hall Masons 1630 N 24th St., Lincoln held their semi-annual fish fry yesterday.  They had visitors from Omaha, Lincoln and the surrounding area taking advantage of the great food being prepared and served by the members of the lodge.  It was delicious!  The next fish fry will be held in the same location in October.  When we learn the date, we’ll let everyone know.  Let’s support each other whenever we can.

Waiting in line was even enjoyable!

Prince Hall Masons Celebrate the 100th Birthday of Druid Hall Saturday, April 11, 2015

The building at 2412 Ames Ave., Omaha, owned by the Prince Hall Grand Lodge was erected 100 years ago by the Woodman of the World Druid Camp # 24.  It has played a vital role in the city in the years since.  It was used by the D Louis Black post 3421 Veterans of Foreign Wars from 1935 till 1967.  The main room that is now the lodge room doubled as a dance hall during that time, hosting many of the great jazz bands through the years.  The Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge of Nebraska, Grand Chapter Order of the Eastern Star and other Prince Hall concordant bodies utilize the building for their meetings and activities.

It was indeed an honor to attend the celebration along WB Ron Stites, GJD.  Also in attendance was Tangier Shrine and the Daughters of the American Revolution.

It was a top ten weather day in South Sioux City for the symbolic laying of the cornerstone ceremony.  It is a beautiful and functional addition to their lodge building that will serve them well for years to come.  Kudos the visionary leaders that made this happen.
